Karissa Phelps concentrates her practice at Spear Wilderman on family law matters. Prior to joining our firm, Karissa completed a fellowship through the Stoneleigh Foundation at Temple Legal Aid working with kinship caregivers, or third parties, in custody and dependency cases. Karissa graduated from Temple Beasley School of Law while simultaneously earning her Master’s in Social Work degree from Temple University. While in law school, Karissa received awards for her trial advocacy skills. Prior to her graduate work, Karissa earned degrees of Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Bachelor of Social Work from Eastern University. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Karissa is committed to the fervent advocacy of clients’ voices throughout the legal process.
