F. Tighe Burns is a lawyer who practices family law and immigration law, and is a member of the bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Tighe earned his bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College and his juris doctor from Temple University, Beasley School of Law, where he was a Rubin Public Interest Scholar. He has supervised and mentored numerous law students from area law schools
Tighe, who was born in Bogota, Columbia and is bilingual in English and Spanish, has traveled extensively to every continent on earth but Australia and Antarctica, and these experiences have increased his sensitivity to the wide variety of living conditions and problems our working clients can encounter.
Tighe is a member of the Young Professionals Board of Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia, for whom he volunteers regularly at their South Philly and West Philly legal clinics. He’s also a proud husband and father of two.
