Chris Stockton is a 1983 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Rutgers University and earned his law degree from Rutgers Law School-Camden in 1986, after which he served as a law clerk to Judges Dominick J. Ferrelli and Anthony P. Tunney, Jr. of the New Jersey Superior Court.
After concentrating for many years on the practice of family law, Chris currently primarily handles residential real estate transactions, estate planning, deed preparation and municipal court matters (NJ), and maintains a divorce mediation practice. Chris has served as a Court-appointed mediator and arbitrator in family law matters, and also has extensive experience representing clients in guardianship proceedings, name changes, and criminal expungements.
A member of the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Burlington County, and Camden County Bar Associations, Chris also has served as an adjunct professor at the Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, and has served on and chaired the District III-B Fee Arbitration and Ethics Committees.
Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, their four children and triplet granddaughters, and their Labrador retriever, Zoe.
