George aims to build an egalitarian world through the law. At Spear Wilderman, he counsels unions and multiemployer pension plans on issues arising under federal and state labor laws and ERISA.
He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, where he was a Toll Public Interest Scholar, in 2026. He has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Pennsylvania.
During law school, George was highly involved in GETUP-UAW Local 5124, the union of over 4,000 graduate employees at the University of Pennsylvania. As a member of GETUP-UAW’s bargaining committee, George organized workers in the professional schools and helped negotiate the union’s first contract, which raised base pay by 22 percent overnight. He later served as interim Vice President of the union. He also worked for two Philadelphia-area unions as a Peggy Browning Fellow and for a city councilmember through his school’s Legislative Clinic.
Before law school, George was a paralegal in the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. In addition to assisting staff attorneys with merger investigations, he represented his DOJ coworkers as a union steward. His experience as a steward inspired George to start a career in labor law.
