Wendy Chierici grew up in Philadelphia and joined Spear Wilderman after graduating from Rutgers School of Law in 1991. She is a shareholder with the firm, and represents both private and public sector employees and unions. Wendy’s practice focuses on negotiating collective bargaining agreements, representing clients before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, labor arbitrations, and advising unions on all aspects of internal union affairs. Her clients include public employee unions, office and professional employee unions, and unions representing employees in the food service, manufacturing, building trades, health care and entertainment industries. She regularly lectures groups on a variety of labor and employment related topics. Wendy serves on arbitration panels for the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Wendy is a member of the Labor & Employment Law Sections of the American, Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations as well as of the AFL-CIO Union Lawyers Alliance.
Before she was a lawyer, Wendy served as an Organizer, Business Agent and Vice President for the United Food and Commercial Workers Union in Philadelphia and in Fresno, California, and as an Organizer for the Hotel and Restaurant Employees Union in California.
